The parade will begin on Oakfield Drive at Parsons Road. The parade will continue across Kings Avenue and will end at South Lakewood Drive.

You will be able to park in most business parking lots along the parade route, but please keep in mind that there will be road closures close to the parade start time. Parsons Avenue, from Lumsden to Brandon Blvd (60), will be closed by 2:30 p.m., with access only given to parade volunteers, participants and emergency vehicles. Access to Oakfield Drive, from Parsons Avenue to Lakewood Avenue, will be closed by 5:00 p.m. Be sure to follow us on social media for the latest updates - Facebook and Instagram - @brandonparadeoflights

The parade will begin at 5:30 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024 and will conclude when the final parade participant/float has exited Oakfield Drive onto South Lakewood Drive.

There are a variety of opportunities to participate. Please refer to the “Participate,” “Sponsor,” and “Volunteer” pages of this website.

If you are a business entity (corporate or non-profit) your insurance company should easily issue a certificate to you. Please remember to include the names of the additional insured listed in the application. If you are a personal entity, affordable liability insurance can be offered for a single event. Please contact an insurance agent for more details.

There will be access to portable bathrooms along the parade route both on the North and South sides of Oakfield. We will post the locations once we get closer to the day of the parade. Be sure to follow Brandon Parade of Lights on Facebook and/or Instagram for all details, promotions, and updates.

We will have information posted on social media once we get closer to the event date as to restaurants and any other food opportunities that will be available along the parade route.
